Alternative Solutions Proposal

      Criminal justice policies reflect continual alternative solutions. A vast number of policies like three strikes, drug policy, pursuit policy and racial profiling, are all reevaluated alternative solutions that are newly developed and since adopted newly improved policies. As of November 5, 2014, the Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act, Proposition 47 was voted on approved by California voters. Proposition 47 brought about change to felony sentencing for those incarcerated for non- serious, non- violent offences.
