Racial disparity is often associated or confused with racial discrimination. Discrimination mostly deals with reasons why someone got the punishment while disparity deals with the percentage of people that receive the punishment. People often wonder is there really disparity in the midst of the justice system. As this paper travels along it will break this topic down to show there maybe some disparity in our justice system. It will also show some of the differentiation between capital punishment, and life imprisonment. Then it will discuss one of the hottest topics in the world of criminal justice, and that is DNA technology which is the most vital part of the system.
