For companies to stay competitive in the marketplace they must invest in technology to operate their company more efficiently. To keep cost down and provide superior customer service, computers and software are necessary to manage the company. Computers have both hardware and software. The hardware is the physical parts of a computer that one can touch including but not limited to screens, printers, keyboard, hard drives, and the mouse. The program that runs on the computer and performs task is the software.
