The main and most quite significant advantage of using most other software products other than Microsoft Office Products would be due to the low to no cost. Across the board Microsoft is quite expensive whereas, many of the other choices are at a lower cost or are actually free. For the study, I chose to compare the following the application types of software's that is as follows for:

Browser: Mozilla Firefox and Apple's Safari

Word Processor: Corel's Word Perfect and Open Office Writer
