Checkpoint legislation legacy

One of the issues the native americans from all over our country have brought to the us government has to do with our environment. More exactly it has to deal with the pollution that we all are dealing with. There fight is to gain rights with the environmental legislation to be able to have a voice on what is being done. The tribal leaders feel that they are being designed the ability to help, however they are the ones feeling the brunt of the effects. Due to the pollution we are currently dealing with, it has affected their way of life, living of the lands.
