Case Study 2 Bradley Sheaffer Davenport University April 13th, 2016 CISP 510 Dr. Marvin Harris Abstract The U.S. Missile Defense Agency has encountered numerous problems during the development of its Ground Missile Defense (GMD) system. Many of these problems have occurred as a result of poor quality assurance. The project was given an unreasonable deadline to meet resulting in the development team not being able to set a strict plan of development to follow. This caused them to rush the development of the GMD and caused to them to focus on fixing small testing problems when a complete redesign of the development software was needed. This led to more failed tests that successful tests and caused the spending of more tax payer money than was probably necessary.
