1. What will be the goals of counseling and what intervention strategies are used to accomplish those goals? Being that Psychoanalytic theory focuses on the client's level of effectiveness of how they function any intervention should be determined by nature their willingness to recovery (Murdock, 2017). As a counselor, my goals will be to help the client face their fears by encouraging the client to look at their behavior as well as the reasoning that causes these symptoms.
