I am choosing to compare the U.S. Healthcare system with that of Japan because the Japanese culture has always interested me.  The cost of the U.S. Healthcare System has been steadily increasing for years and it is already too costly for some Americans to afford health insurance.  Many lower income Americans choose to remain uninsured due to the high monthly cost of insurance while the citizens of Japan have all been insured under the national healthcare plan for almost 60 years [ CITATION Rug19 \l 1033 ].
