There is no mention of prior knowledge that the students are building on, and no mention of new information. From the lesson plan, the teacher explains the concept of the activity, but there is no demonstration or modeling introduced. As for guided practice, there isnt any written in the plan. The entirety of this lesson plan is independent practice as it is an individual focused game. The assessment is the winning of the game for the minnows it seems, and possibly the capturing of the minnows from the net, but it ultimately isnt clear if there is an assessment.
