A1. Describe how you would respond to Mr. Newcombs request. As a nurse, I take pride in myself by keeping my life and my own beliefs separate from my patients beliefs and care. Everyone is different in their own way and believes in all different things. I have learned to walk in the room of any patient with an open mind. I try my best each day not to judge others and treat them all individually but just and fair. I have never worked in a long-term setting, but I can say I have formed relationships with patients and their family members over short periods of time.
