International Outbreak Measles

Description of Chosen International Outbreak Measles is a highly contagious virus, which was once considered eliminated in the United States in 2000. The disease remains common in some parts of the world such as Europe, Asia, and Africa. In 2008, there were several outbreaks according to the CDC. The outbreak reached European region and France by 2011. By April of 2014, an outbreak occurred when an unvaccinated Amish community from Ohio traveled to the Philippines and upon returning to the Unites States, a large outbreak of 383 cases occurred.
