Public Policy Issue The public policy that I have chosen to write about and discuss is Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 246-840-240 Continuing Competency Requirements Active Status. This is the state code that sets the requirements all Registered Nurses (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (ARNP).
