The country I choose to compare to the United States of Americas (U.S.) Healthcare system is Japan. Healthcare systems within the U.S. is soaring well into the trillions. According to World Health Organization (WHO), the national average for healthcare in the U.S. in the year 2015 was 7.2 trillion dollars (WHO, 2018). The cost per capita for the U.S. in 2015 was  and in Japan the cost per capita is  (Sakamoto, Rahman, Nomura, Okamoto, Koike, Yasunaga, .., Ghaznavi, 2018).
