C 489 Task 1 Organizational Systems and Quality Leadership Task 1 Western Governors University Understanding of Nursing Quality Indicators From what I have learned being a nurse, nursing quality indicators are used in everyday nursing. They are indicators that reflect the structure, processes and the outcomes of nursing care as a whole. Each nurse should be looking for ways to help prevent injuries, illness and help maintain a safe environment. We as nurses take these steps and form interventions to help our patients with the best outcomes.
