C 225 BEP2 Task 2 C225 Education-Related Research Topic The topic of my research is whether the implementation of project-based learning should be used in the classroom. I am interested in determining if the benefits of implementing PBL should be used to make teachers participate in its utilization. Research Problem Statement Our current policy towards what teachers can and cannot do is a hands off approach. The school district allows the schools a sense of autonomy as do site administrators. While the administration encourages a reduction in lecture-based lessons, a strict policy is not in place. Many students seem to enjoy and prefer project based learning rather than the lecture-based approach.
