Describe the cognitive and non-cognitive abilities relating to Emotional Intelligence. Provide an example of how you might use EQ in your daily life.

The fact that cognitive skills can be measured, and non-cognitive skills are simply monitored the way that they relate to emotional intelligence (EI) differ slightly. In my personal opinion cognitive skills are not what it takes to deal with emotional intelligence which is made up of the following five dimensions self-awareness, self-management, self-motivation and empathy all of which can not be measured.
