"Organizational culture consists of a set of shared meanings and values held by a set of members in an organization that distinguish the organization from other organizations" (Baack, 2012, p. 34). Culture itself can be defined as the "sum total of the social and political rules, technological inventions and economic institutions, the arts, shared beliefs and practices" (Brinkman, 1999, para. 7). Therefore, it follows that an organization's culture would describe these aspects of culture as they relate to the firm itself.
