Sweden is a Scandinavian country located in Northern Europe. Sweden lies west of the Baltic Sea and Gulf of Bothnia and forms the eastern part of the Scandinavian Peninsula. Sweden is predominantly agricultural, with increasing forest coverage as you move northward within the country. To emphasize it's natural beauty, 65% of Sweden's total land area is covered with forests (Ministry of Environment). Thus, in regards to the natural environment of the country, it is only fitting that people strive to protect the country's natural environment by going "green".
