Introduction

In today's society there are several types of human service organizations. Organization provides services to clients of different types of backgrounds. Cultural Competency is very important for establishing rapport with clients and determining their needs. According to The Office of Minority Health (2005), "Cultural and linguistic competence is a set of congruent behaviors, attitudes, and policies that come together in a system, agency, or among professionals that enables effective work in cross-cultural situations" (para 1).
