Comparing and contrasting of Humanism and Behaviorism Humanism and Behaviorism are schools of psychology of learning with many similarities and differences. However, in order to further discuss their common characteristics and differences, we must understand first get a lames d of the complex definitions. Humanism focuses on human issues such as self-actualization, individuality and health. Behaviorism, on the other hand, focuses on calling it how they see it whilst ignoring the mental process.
