Everyone has habits and some are worse than others but in reality they are all hard to break. Some habits can be classified as harmless and others can possibly ruin lives. When I was younger I had a habit that almost destroyed my life and even almost took it from me more than once. Substance abuse is a very dangerous habit and one that I feel ashamed for falling victim to but with a strong will and a wonderful support system I was able to break this horrible habit, get back into school and hopefully turn this negative habit into positive experience because my passion is to be a substance abuse counselor to save lives by telling my story.
