Week 1, DQ3: Studying the Steps of the Communication Process

Which step in the communication process do you consider to be the most important? Why do you think this? Which of these steps is the most uncomfortable for you? Why is this? How might you work to change this?

The most important step in the communication process is the step where the sender is aware of who the receiver is. I have been in way to many conversations where I have no clue what a person is talking about because of the language or word usage on their part. I was in a department store returning an item i had bought when the lady that was helping me was using slang in which i did not understand. I had her repeat herself several times but still not completely understanding I asked for the manager. So...
