The Position that Susan Wolf faced is not one that I have had to bare nor is it one that I would want to be in a position to have to make the hard choice for. The loss of a loved one is always hard, but to have to contemplate "accelerated" death is extremely unfair for the responsible person making the decisions. So we need to ask ourselves, can we morally make that decision, and at what cost?

Susan Wolf was faced with a moral dilemma that tested her beliefs and her love for her father.
