Snow Landscape
This week, I visited Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, Virginia. In the 20th century art exhibit, there was one piece that seemed to catch my eye right away. Not only did it ironically match the snow and ice that blanketed Richmond this week, it also contained many of the crucial design elements that make a strong and successful piece of art. It is a n oil painting by Eric Heckel, a german painter in the early 20th century. It is titled Snow Landscape.
