An Analogy of the OSI Model

The OSI model is a concept that breaks down communication between two computers on a network type in a layered process, where each layer will efficiently handle its portion of this process until information is exchanged as desired by the user. The OSI model will describe the flow of data n a network, from the lowest layer of physical connections up to the layer containing the user's applications.
