For this assignment, I have decided to go with the tragic slaying of Donnah Winger and Roger Harrington in 1995 at the hands of Mark Winger. As of the writing of this paper on August 16, 2013, we are approaching the 18-year anniversary of the double homicide that took place in Springfield, Illinois. Mark was eventually convicted of double homicide and was later given the charge of solicitation of murder. Throughout this paper, I will discuss the Winger family background in addition to Mark's education and relationship with his coworkers and friends.
