Abuse in health care is a fairly new concept in the medical world as health care personnel do not have access to a clear definition of the term. Authors A.J. Bruggerman, B. Wijma, and K. Swahnberg set out to perform a concept analysis on the term in order to better define it and its relationship to similar concepts.
