3-D Shapes Unit: Anchor Chart
3-D Shapes are super exciting for students! As a teacher, this unit is always easy for me because students always take an interest in these shapes. Hands-on exploration is the best approach, in my opinion. This anchor chart provides an excellent resource.
Use this chart to encourage students to think of examples of shapes in everyday real life. I challenge my students to go home and find as many examples of 3-D shapes as they can. This anchor chart will be helpful in getting their minds started as they are reminded of every day shapes. I also designate a special spot in our classroom where we add the shapes gathered by students from their homes.
