Nelson Madela vs. The apartheid
In my opinion, Nelson Mandela was justified in the use of violence to resist the apartheid government of South Africa. The apartheid (meaning separateness and/or apartness) was the name of a government policy in South Africa which separated races and allowed unfair and unjust treatment towards those of color. The laws of the apartheid separated people by race and forced those of color to live and work in restricted areas. Nelson Mandela was a part of an organization (ANC) which held peaceful and non- violent protest to express their opposing feelings towards the laws of the apartheid.
