Crime and Victim Statistics Crime and victims statistics provide information related to specific agencies, ethnic and racial composition, and specific crimes (Rachel & Barbara, 2019). The two criminal justice agencies selected are the New York Police Department and the Middletown Police Department. The New York Police Department is situated in Orange County and serves approximately 47,000 people. This agency comprises of 114 officers and additional 25 civilians who work on a full time and part-time basis. 20% of the police officers are female, whereas 80% are male.
