February 27, 2020 C228 Task 2 Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious, infectious disease, due to Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MT) that has been around for over 150 million years (Barberis, Bragazzi, Galluzzo, & Martin, 2017, p. 1), but it wasnt until March 24, 1882, when Dr. Robert Koch announced the discovery of MT.
