Social psychology does not discern the obvious or confirm the commonplace. The fact is that common knowledge originates from the data and facts we are exposed to. Basically, we only consider something common sense after we have learned it. Social psychology gives us insight on our personal behavior by analyzing how others can influence your train of thought, feelings, or even behavior. The study of Social psychology usually appears like common knowledge from the beginning. However, it only gives this sensation because we are all subjects of social psychology.
